KRUSH Introduction + Timeline

While it is debated on how many cycles there are in business growth stages, what all these cycles have in common is they show a generalized version of how businesses grow. They also provide useful insights for business owners and managers insights into the types of challenges and opportunities their business may be about to face.

Since our inception, we never strived to be viewed as a typical corporate health and wellness company. Our comfort zone of being left of center provides us the ability to think outside the box and questioning the status quo. We are constantly considering how can improve an experience, product or service. This has allowed us to keep growing — and can lead to intelligent and forward-thinking decisions in business, well so we hope.

Ethans Edibles sought to show how CBD infused in ordinary foods and drinks can transform the way that we view self-care and the care of those whom we love.

Humans, when willing can create powerful connections through food, which lead people to believe that when we act together each of us is stronger for it. The Ethans Edibles concept was designed to empower, heal and educate.

KRUSH’s introduction to the premium hemp flower market began in March 2020. We provided thousands of pounds of Hemp from some of the most sought after farmers in the market. For selective clients we offered comprehensive solutions with the mission to assist business owners to streamline production.

COVID brought unprecedented challenges to businesses across all retail supply chains, and the CBD market was no different. However, during the height of the Global Pandemic, KRUSH embarked on the mission to create a full line of products that would benefit all walks of life. Our diverse product line’s focus began and still remains on natural & organic products, servicing the wholesale and retail markets. Our products enhance your quality of life, using science-backed, and century old holistic formulations that won’t hurt the planet.

Our selective hiring and sub contractor selection allowed us to scale quickly, adding Private Label – White Label and No Label Services to hundreds of CBD and related companies that experienced delays due to COVID 19. We adopted an in-house sustainability commitment, where we would source sustainably-harvested and worker-friendly products from around the globe. We would purchase organic ingredients wherever possible. It was never an option, but we will never test on animals. Humans… different story.

Our creative edge was showcased in our early onset, with the release of our catalog, featuring over 100 products, some of which the market had not had the chance to experience.

In June of 2020, we entered the High Times Hemp Cup and placed in the Top 5 for our Goodnight Honey Blend. Within days, we were able to revisit our Las Vegas roots for several International orders, exporting products to Switzerland, UK, Hong Kong, Latvia, Italy, PR, and France.

As the coronavirus continued to permeate almost every corner of daily life, KRUSH realized that there was a silver lining despite the consuming negative vibration felt worldwide.

Our consumers were beginning to focus more on their health, searching for all natural anxiety-easing solutions and ramping up their self-care routines in quarantine. KRUSH fit the bill perfectly.

Denver, CO offered the ability for KRUSH to operate as an essential business while businesses of all types were forced to close, we made the conscious decision to remain open at all costs.

Hotels, restaurants and other social gathering hubs took major hits, which sent a shockwave through the industry. Solution: KRUSH adapted an aggressive B2B campaign that included hundreds of thousands of miles traveling to visit clients, farms, extraction labs and distributors to build and reaffirm relationships. With shipping delays, quality control concerns running rapid in the industry; our decision to go on the offensive to create new lanes of quality product creation and delivery paid dividends.

In May of 2021, we opened our Denver brick and mortar store, located in the heart of the Sante Fe Art District. After the completion of our renovation, we opened our doors to begin to service the needs of those seeking alternative and holistic care. Our store coupled as a Wellness Center combining research and care focusing on alternative medicines, fitness guides, nutrition counseling and education and weight management programs.

While only at 2000 sq ft, we were able to build out a nutrition lab with bistro, a yoga and meditation room and formulation room. Within walking distance of many Art Galleries, featuring mountain views of the Colorado range the KRUSH store offered a brief escape from the anxiety driven world outside.

June 2021 due to rapid regulation changes, we opened a gummy manufacturing facility in TX strictly for gummy manufacturing. This facility has production capability of 1 million gummies biweekly. To date, we stock over 450K gummies in this location.

In July 2021 we began to offer more stock products, our made-to-order timelines increased by 30%, and our custom herbal blends were more readily available due to our non-stop search for a consistent supply chain. Fall of 2021, we invested into additional equipment, education, and smaller firms with the same pledge to remain open through the pandemic. Noticing additional niches that we could fill, we added an additional 50+ products to our wholesale offerings.

The KRUSH Pivot. To pivot in business simply means fundamentally changing the direction of a business when you realize the current products or services aren’t meeting the needs of the market. In a rapid, and ever changing market; we saw the need for a pivot to help the company improve revenue and build brand awareness.

February 2022. Most Americans were either in full swing or looking forward to dining at their favorite restaurants and socializing over dinner and drinks as states lifted restrictions. While we were far from returning to business as usual; we felt it imperative to keep a pulse on key markets that may have shuttered during the height of COVID-19. We’ve already seen that reopening after COVID-19 may be a start-and-stop process. Our primary focus was to provide a careful and cautious approach to reopening and expansion to ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers and community.

March 2022. We devised a thorough pivoting strategy that aligned with all the core mission and departments of our company to create a multi-state reopening strategy. After weeks of discussion, we determined that our multi-state reopening effort would require more than a return to a normal way of doing business. however. An unpredictable and long-lasting period that follows this pandemic is far from “normal”, not only will it feature fundamental changes to economic activity, but also fast-changing cultural norms, societal values and behaviors.

To reopen and to outmaneuver uncertainty requires a program of reinvention.

May 2022. The decision was made to add our Las Vegas division, moving from a traditional brick and mortar retail space for Denver, into a Mobile Service, enhancing our B2B capabilities by rebranding and creating new divisions of the KRUSH brand. Our five step program for what we call the KRUSH Reset, step one in every move that we make is to put people first. Knowing what is really going on in the lives of our employees, clients and the world climate is essential to creating the next generation successful business.

A successful reset starts with responsible leadership. The secret to our success and the investment into our long-term success lies in building new capabilities: fresh approaches to innovation, supported by more holistic alternatives coupled with technology strategies that support innovation at scale.
